We hope you enjoy this excerpt from Joanna Estelle (Storoschuk)'s Songs from the Heavens.
This arrangement of the Ukrainian National Anthem (poetry written by Pavlo Chubynskyj, arranged by Oleksandr Koshetz), including a rarely sung second verse, was discovered in a rare hundred year old edition that was printed for the 1919 world tour of the National Choir of Ukraine, conducted by Koshetz.
As we honour and acknowledge the sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country, we invite you to listen to our two new musical offerings: In Remembrance by Canadian composer Eleanor Daley and Godfrey Ridout's choral arrangement of O Canada including the rarely heard and moving second verse (full playlist on YouTube)
